She has contributed to many magazines & books, including Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Mothers. Remembering TFC Over the Years -

A handful of us bereaved parents gathered in the basement of the Episcopal Church in the fall of 1983. We had come together for one purpose—to begin a chapter for The Compassionate Friends, Inc. in Gardner. Some of us knew little about one another or how to lead a group for bereaved parents.
